Radha Raman is well known for his songs like 'Bhromor Koio Giya,' 'Kare Dekhabo Moner Dukkho,' 'Sham Chikon Kalia,' 'Mone nai Mone nai,' 'Oh Bashi re,' and 'Jole Giya Chilam Shoi'
A two-day long discussion and cultural program arranged by the Radha Raman Social Welfare Organization and Cultural Council starting Tuesday would be held at Keshabpur in Jagannath upazila of Sunamganj.
Radha Raman is well known for his songs like “Bhromor Koio Giya,” “Kare Dekhabo Moner Dukkho,” “Sham Chikon Kalia,” “Mone nai Mone nai,” “Oh Bashi re,” and “Jole Giya Chilam Shoi”.
He died at the age of 82 on the 26 Kartik of Bangla year 1322, in his hometown Keshabpur in Jagannathpur upazila. He was buried in Keshabpur.
Ahmed Monjurul Haque, district cultural officer of Sunamganj informed that 1050 of his songs have been preserved digitally. Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy has taken the initiative to build a Radha Raman Complex in his birthplace.
