Two of the accidents left 29 others injured
Three people have been killed and 29 others injured in separate road and train accidents in Rangpur, Brahmanbaria and Kushtia districts.
The accidents happened on Sunday.
In Rangpur, two buses collided head-on in Domdoma area of the city, leaving one dead and 27 others injured.
Borodarga highway police In-Charge Moazzem Hossain said: "The accident around 11:30am left 28 injured. Fire service and policemen rescued them and rushed them to Rangpur Medical College, where one died while undergoing treatment.
Police could not identify the deceased yet.
"Twenty of the injured were admitted to the hospital," said the policeman.

The two buses are in police's custody, however, the drivers and the helpers fled away, he added.
In Brahmanbaria, an auto rickshaw was hit hard by a loaded truck, leaving the auto rickshaw driver dead and two passengers injured.
The deceased is Sajib Mia, 27, son of Martuj Ali, from Kachhait village in Machhihata union of Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila.
Brahmanbaria Khatihata police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Moinul Islam said: "The two injured were rescued and admitted to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital."
"The auto rickshaw is in our custody, but the truck managed to flee. A case will soon be filed in this regard, "the OC added.
In Kushtia, a 50-year-old man died after he hurt his head while boarding a train from platform 2 in Poradaho railway junction of Mirpur upazila.
Poradaho GRP police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jashim Uddin said: "The accident happened around 3:15am and we still could not identify the deceased."
"The body will soon be recovered and sent to Kushtia General Hospital Morgue for autopsy," the OC added.
