Deputy Education Minister Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel has said Jahangirnagar University (JU) administration will face action, if allegations of corruption against them are found to be true.
He made this statement during a press conference at the International Mother Language Institute in Shegun Bagicha on Wednesday.
He said: "We will investigate all the complaints against the administration with available specific information we have, so far."
He said to take necessary action if the allegations are proven to be true in the investigation, he added.
Nowfel furthered: "However, if the complaints are not proved, actions will be taken according to the penal code."
