In Jessore, a motorcyclist was killed after a truck hit his vehicle yesterday morning in front of the Moyuri Cinema Hall in Bagachra of the Sharsha upazila.
At least nine people were killed in road accidents in Barisal, Panchagarh, Jessore, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Kushtia and Narayanganj on Friday and Saturday.
In Barisal, two people were killed when a car rammed into a parked battery-run three-wheeler in the Kashipur area under the Barisal City Corporation.
The deceased were Saleha Begum, 53, and the three-wheeler driver Abul Hashem Jamaddar, 40.
Barisal Airport police station OC Zahid Bin Alam said: "The woman was crossing the road when the car ran over her and killed her before severely injuring the three-wheeler driver inside his vehicle."
In Panchagarh, a minor was killed when the motorcycle carrying her was rear-ended by a bus on the Panchagarh-Banglabandha Highway in the Satmera area of the Tetulia upazila.
Risha Akter, 6, died on the spot and her father was admitted to a hospital with injuries, said Tetulia Highway police station OC Abdullah Hel Baki.

The deceased is Rabbi Hosain, 28, said Bagachra police investigation centre OC Sukdeb Roy.
In Dinajpur, two teenagers were killed after their motorbike crashed into a roadside tree in the Chandikali village of the Birol upazila on Friday night.
The deceased Shanjib Chandra Roy, 15, and Mintu Chandra Roy, 16 died at 2am Saturday at the M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital, said Birol police station OC ATM Golam Rosul.
In Nilphamari, a man was killed when a microbus hit his bicycle on the Nilphamari-Panchapukur road on Friday night.
The deceased is Zahir Uddin, 60, confirmed Nilphamari police station Sub-Inspector Anisur Rahman.
In Kushtia, a man was killed when a bus hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw in the Moyanmor area of the Kumarkhali upazila on Friday evening.
The deceased is Sikai Mandal, 50, said Kumarkhali police station OC Jahangir Alam.
In Narayanganj, a minor schoolboy was killed after a tractor ran him over on the Noagao road of the Araihazar upazila on Friday evening.
The deceased Abu Sayeed, 10, was a second grade student, said Araihazar police statiom OC Nazrul Islam.
