The incidents occured in four different districts
A woman and girl have been victims of rape while two others- both of them teenagers - have been killed after being raped in separate incidents in four districts.
In Rangpur, unidentified miscreants abducted a student of sixth grade, and killed her after rape at Pirganj upazila on Saturday morning.
Pirganj police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shoresh Chandra confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
Police and relatives said some miscreants took the victim to a bush forcefully while she was returning home from a private coaching centre.
They violated the victim before strangling her with the scarf she wore, they said.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy, the OC said.
In Tangail, police recovered the body of a teenage girl at Madhupur upazila on Friday afternoon, two days after she went missing.
The body of Nargis Akter, 15, was recovered from a paddy field near her house at Nekibari village, said Madhupur police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Zobaidul Haq.
He said: "The victim may have been strangled after rape.
"The body has been sent to Tangail General Hospital morgue for autopsy," the police official added.
Locals said Nargis, who got divorced seven to eight months ago, went missing around 10pm on September 11.
In Dhaka, a woman was allegedly gang-raped at Dhamrai upazila.
The rape survivor filed a case in this connection with Dhamrai police station on Friday, said OC Dipak Chandra Saha.
Family and police said the woman, 23, a resident of Ashulia, had been looking for a job for days.
In the meantime, she became acquainted with Jasim, a resident of Balitha in Dhamrai, who assured her of securing a job.
Later, they also developed an affair between them.
On September 9, Jasim called her over the phone and asked her to meet at Balitha.
However, Jasim confined the victim to a room where he and his associate Nahid, along with two to three others, violated her.
Hearing her screams, locals went to the spot and rescued the victim.
She was then admitted to Dhamrai Upazila Health Complex.
OC Dipak Chandra said: "We sent the victim to the One-stop Crisis Centre at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Friday for investigation.
"Drives are on to arrest the perpetrators," he added.
In Bandarban, a schoolgirl was allegedly raped by her neighbour at Lama upazila early Friday.
Mother of the tenth grader filed a case against the lone accused, Amir Hossain, in this connection on Friday night, said OC Oppela Raju Naha.
According to the case statement, Amir used to harass the schoolgirl very often.
On Friday, when the girl went out of her house at around 1:30 am to respond to the call of nature, he took the girl to his room forcefully and violated her, the case statement said.
"We are trying to arrest Amir Hossain," the OC added.
