Babul Mia, who was arrested in the noon on Sunday, died about four hours later while undergoing treatment at Nasirnagar Upazila health complex in the afternoon.

The deceased Babul Mia, 55, of Koirpur village under Purbabhog union in the upazila, was a fugitive in an attempt to commit robbery case filed with Bijoynagar police station, the OC added.
"Babul was arrested from his residence at noon, and was taken to the police station," said the OC adding that he was rushed to the upazila health complex with severe chest pain.
He was declared dead in the afternoon, Shahriar Sohail, a resident physician of the health complex, said adding that Babul was physically very weak.
However, his family alleged that no case was filed against Babul.
When contacted, Additional police superintendent of Brahmanbaria Md Alamgir Hossain said, "I have enquired about the incident. The circumstances of his death are being investigated seriously. If any allegation against police is found, action will be taken accordingly."
