A teenage schoolgirl was raped in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah on Wednesday night and another in Sadar upazila of Kurigram on Tuesday night.

In Jhenaidah, police arrested two men accused in a case filed for raping a seventh-grader in Kaliganj upazila.
The arrested were Prince Hossain, 19, and Nayan Hossain, 18.
According to the case, on Wednesday, Prince abducted the girl on her way to a relative's house and raped her at a deserted place. Nayan and another unidentified man aided in this crime.
Later, the girl was rescued from near a local pond, where she was left unconscious. Her father filed a case against three men.
Kaliganj police station OC Yunus Ali said: "We arrested the two accused and sent them to jail after a court order Thursday afternoon. The girl was admitted to a hospital for medical attention."
In Kurigram, a 14-year-old girl was abducted and raped in Sadar upazila on Tuesday.
Police yesterday arrested the prime accused Raju Ahmed and sent him to jail following court order.
According to the case filed by the girl, on Tuesday, Raju with four accomplices abducted the girl and raped her at a deserted place, while the others kept watch.
Kurigram Sadar police station OC Mahfuzar Rahman said: "We have sent the girl to Kurigram General Hospital for medical attention. We are trying to arrest the others. "
Gang rape accused arrested
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man accused in a case filed for gang-raping a seventh-grader in Sadar upazila of Jhenaidah yesterday.
The arrested was Ruhul Amin, along with two others named Badshah and Munnu abducted the schoolgirl and gang-raped her at a deserted place, said Jhenaidah RAB 6 Company Commander Masud.
Locals rescued her near the Cadet College area and took her to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital. Later, her father filed a case, he added.
