Prime ministers wish continued peace, progress and prosperity of people in both countries
Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering called on his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina and extended Eid greetings to her and the people of Bangladesh.
“Lotay Tshering phoned Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 11:45am on Tuesday and extended heartfelt greetings to her and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha,” said prime minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim.
On behalf of the people and on her own behalf, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina extended her heartfelt greetings to the Bhutanese King, the premier and the people, the press secretary added.
During the 10-minute conversation, both the prime ministers wished continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of the two countries.
