Police recovered two bullet ridden bodies from the Sadar upazila of Cox's Bazar district yesterday morning.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, said Sadar police station Sub-Inspector Zahirul Islam.
On information, police recovered the bodies from the Kata Pahar area beside the Kolatali bypass road in the district town around 8.30 am, said Farid Uddin Khandaker, officer in-charge of Cox's Bazar Sadar police station.
Marks of bullet injuries were found on the bodies, the OC said.
Police also recovered 400 yaba pills and two locally made guns near the bodies.
Police suspect they might have been killed in an exchange of fire between two gangs of drug traders over sharing money, the OC added.
