Benapole Express to operate 6 days a week

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate Benapole Express on July 17

The Benapole Express has been scheduled to run non-stop for six days every week.

Benapole railway station master Saiduzzaman confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune.  Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate Benapole Express on July 17 through a video conference, he added. 

On the first day of the inauguration, Benapole Express will leave for Dhaka at 1:15 pm from Benapole.

Railway Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon and Railway Director Md Shamsuzzaman will be present on the day of the inauguration.

The train has 12 bogies, with 900 seats, Saiduzzaman further said. 

Ticket prices will start from Tk485, with the non-AC tickets costing Tk485, AC tickets costing Tk932, and cabins Tk1,116. 

The train, imported from Indonesia, has a bio-toilet facility similar to Biman Airlines.

The train will leave at 11am from Benapole to Dhaka, and will leave Dhaka for Benapole at 12pm every day.
