She offered prayers seeking divine blessings for her countrymen

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is on a four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia, performed holy Umrah in Mecca.

The premier performed “tawaf” around the holy Ka’aba, then walked and ran between Safa and Marwa, on Saturday night, reports BSS.

She also offered prayers seeking divine blessings for her countrymen, as well as continued peace, progress and prosperity for the Muslim Ummah.

On Sunday, she will offer ziarat at the Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) at Masjid-e Nababi in the holy city of Medina.

She had been invited by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to join the 14th Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which took place on Friday.

PM offers ziarat at Masjid-e Nababi

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has offered ziarat at Masjid-e-Nababi in the holy city of Medinah.

The premier performed ziarat of the Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) at Masjid-e Nababi after Zohr prayers on Sundsay.

Sheikh Rehana, younger daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, PM’s daughter SaimaWazed Hossain Putul and other entourage members of the premier also offered the ziarat.

Earlier, the premier reached Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah from Makkah at 10:50am by a special flight.

Wahib Al-Sahli, deputy governor of Madinah, received the premier at the airport.
