Police arrested 14 drug traders in an anti-narcotic drive in Hili, Dinajpur.

The arrested are: Jony Sheikh, 27, Habibur Rahman, 45, Bokul Hossain, 32, Amin, 26, Abdul Momin, 32, Angur Sheikh, 35, Mominur Rahman, 35 and Saidul Islam, 50, all from Hili.
Abdur Rahman, 40, Saifur Rahman, 35, Shaju Mia, 38, Shohel, 40, Shahin Mondal, 35, all from Gaibandha, and Tapu Raihan, 35, of Joypurhat.
Hakimpur police station OC, Anwar Hossain, said: "A special Hakimpur police team conducted the raids on the orders of the district superintendent of police.
"Police arrested six convicted fugitives from their homes and eight others were arrested elsewhere.
"A private car, eight bottles of phensedyl, 20 yaba tablets, and 50 grams of cannabis were confiscated on the drive."
With cases filed against the accused under the Narcotics Control Act, a Dinajpur court sent them to jail, the OC added.
