Police suspects a murder

Police have recovered the body of a Jamalpur journalist near the Jamalpur-Mymensingh railway track.

Ihsan Ibn Reza Fagun's, 21, body was found beside the Jamalpur-Mymensingh railway in the Ranagaccha Maddhyapara area of the Jamalpur Sadar, confirmed OC Tapash Chandra Pandit of the Jamalpur police station.

"Police suspects the man is strangled to death, the body bore no injury marks," added OC Tapash.

Ihsan was a sub-editor of the online news portal Priyo.com, and also a student of Tejgaon College in Dhaka said his father Kakan Reza.

"On Tuesday evening Ihsan said he was returning home by train. Since then we lost contact, "he  added.

Kakan said it was a murder but failed to give any information regarding who killed his son and why it took place.
