The death toll from Friday's storm has increased to seven people
A 10-year-old boy has been killed in a nor'wester that swept through Bangladesh on Friday.
Rakib was killed, while his mother Filrubba, 35, and younger brother, Sakib, were injured in the storm.
Locals said the wall of an under-construction three-storey building collapsed on their tin-shed house in Kazibari arda, injuring the trio.
Rakib died on his way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
Modhupur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shafiqul Islam confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
Meanwhile, traffic on the Tangail-Mymensingh road was disrupted for some time when a tree fell off on the road during the storm.
The storm also destroyed several houses.
Six people were killed in the storm in Dhaka, Naogaon, Pabna and Rajshahi.
