Police are on raid to arrest the killer

A Jubo League leader has been stabbed to death in Cox’s Bazar Sadar upazila.

Abdur Rahim, 44, was reported killed  by his rival Jisat in Jhilongja of Cox’s Bazar Sadar upazila on Thursday. 

According to locals, there was a quarrel between Rahim and Jisat over a land dispute.

At one point, Jisat stabbed Rahim in the chest and neck, and fled.

Immediately, locals rescued Rahim and took him to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital in critical condition, where the duty doctor declared him dead.

Cox's Bazar Sadar police station OC, Farid Uddin Khandaker, said: “Police have visited the crime scene. A  Cox’s Bazar police team is conducting raids to arrest the killer.”

Abdur was the president of Jubo League ward 7  in Jhilongja.
