The prime minister returned from Brunei on Tuesday morning after a three-day official visit at the invitation of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, reports UNB.
President Hamid was informed that Bangladesh and Brunei signed seven instruments to strengthen cooperation, mainly in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, livestock, culture and sports, and the supply of LNG.
The president hoped the visit would help strengthen bilateral trade and investment ties between the two countries.
Prime Minister Hasina also informed the president about various development activities of the government during the meeting.
They also enquired about each other's health.
The prime minister reached Bangabhaban at 6:23pm where she was received by the president.
Secretaries concerned and high officials of both the president and the prime minister's office, were also present.
