Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has arrested one female suspect who allegedly poured kerosene on Nusrat —the Feni madrasa student who was set on fire on April 6.
Kamrun Nahar Moni, Nusrat's classmate, was detained from in front of the Sonagazi Islamia Fazil (Degree) Madrasa on Tuesday at noon.

Confirming the matter to Dhaka Tribune, Feni PBI Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Moniruzzaman said: "We detained her as the suspect who poured kerosene on Nusrat's body before she was set on fire by the others. We are interrogating her.
"One of the prime accused of the case, Nuruddin in his confessional statement to court said according to their plan, Umme Sultana Poppy brought Nusrat to the building's rooftop — and Kamrun Nahar Moni was also present at the spot."

The number of arrested for the case now stands at 15.
Nusrat, who was an Alim examinee, suffered 80% burns when she was set on fire — by four burqa-clad unknown assailants, who were allegedly followers of now suspended madrasa Principal Sirajuddaula — on the roof of the institution at Sonagazi on April 6.
She was attacked for refusing to withdraw a case her family had filed, last month, against Sirajuddaula for sexually harassing and assaulting her.

After she was set on fire, her family filed another case against eight people, including Sirajuddaula, on April 8.
The 18-year-old girl died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on April 10 after five days of treatment.
