Three suspected robbers have been beaten to death by an angry mob in Feni.
The incident occurred in Bagerharhat area of Daganbhuiyan upazila, around 3:30am Saturday, confirmed Daganbhuiyan police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saleh Ahmed.
The deceased are: Shohagh, 30, Monir Hossain, 28, and Nur Alam, 29.
According to the police and local sources, a group of people went to local Hedayet Ullah's residence, with the intention to rob.
Hedayet claimed, the suspected robbers took Tk5 lakh worth items, including Tk70,000 , eight bhori of gold jewelry, and four mobile phones.
