An eighth-grade student missing for a week in Feni, was found dead on Sunday.
Arafat Hossain Shuvo, a 13-year-old student at Temuhoni Mother Care International School, went missing on March 31. His family filed a general diary with Feni Model police station.
Police pursued leads and found his bicycle at a shop in Temuhoni on Sunday morning. His decomposing body was found in a pond behind the shop.
Officer-In-Charge, Abul Kalam Azad, said the police have detained three people for questioning.
He said the body has been sent to Feni Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Shuvo was the eldest of three siblings living in South Kashimpur village. His father, Imam Hossain, lives in Saudi Arabia.
