The men will face legal repercussions for their actions
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members detained a young man in Sylhet for reportedly making derogatory comments on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy and ministers and MPs on his Facebook wall.
The detainee was identified as Khaled Ahmed, 35, from the city's Ghasitula Baramasjid area early Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB 9 battalion conducted a drive in the area in the early hours and picked up the youth, said battalion Media Officer M Nur Alam.
He was later handed over to Kotwali Model Police Station and legal action will be taken against him under the Digital Security Act, he added.

Similarly, police arrested another man for publicly making derogatory comments on the prime minister in Panchagarh.
The detained Palash Kumar Roy, an alleged lawyer was turned in to police custody by angry locals.
According to the case statement, Palash publicly made derogatory comments on the prime minister while he was protesting a case filed against him in front of the deputy commissioner’s office, on Monday afternoon.
On Tuesday, a local court sent him to jail, after a case was filed against him with the Panchagarh Sadar police station.
