Foiling his alleged bid to hijack a Biman aircraft, security forces killed Palash Ahmed during a joint raid at Chittagong airport last month
A team of police’s Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit has interrogated the parents, relatives and neighbours of Md Palash Ahmed, the slain hijacker of a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight.
The CTTC unit team went to Palash's home in Narayanganj’s Sonargaon upazila around 8pm on Saturday and interrogated his father Pyar Jahan Sardar, mother Renu Begum, uncle Dwin Islam and 10 other relatives and neighbours.

Rajesh Barua, inspector of Chittagong Metropolitan Police and also the case investigation officer, said Palash's former wife actress Samsun Nahar Shimla would also be interrogated in a day or two.
Shimla has been kept under surveillance of the Detective Branch of police and she would be interrogated soon, said police.
Foiling his alleged bid to hijack the Biman aircraft, members of security forces killed Palash during a joint raid at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong on February 24.
