Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have detained two suspected drug dealers along with 850 bottles of phensedyl in Singair upazila of Manikganj district.
A team of RAB 4 detained the two with a private car from Binadangi area of the upazila around 11am on Saturday.
The detainees are- Kabir Ahmed, 38, of Katodaho village in Mirpur upazila of Kushtia district, and Md Mintu Mia, 30, of Darshona village in Chuadanga.
Confirming the matter to the Dhaka Tribune, RAB 4's Maj Abdul Hakim said: “Acting on a tip-off, we intercepted a private car from Kushtia and found the bottles inside the vehicle."
Legal action against the detainees is underway, he added.
