Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has banned public access except students within 200 yards of exam centres during the Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Dakhil and SSC/Dakhil (Vocational) examinations.
The announcement has been made through a press release signed by the DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia on Wednesday.
It said that the SSC, Dakhil and SSC/Dakhil (Vocational) examination of the year 2019, will be held at different examination centres of the Dhaka metropolitan from February 2.
In order to ensure fair and peaceful examinations in the exam centres, the DMP commissioner has completely prohibited public unauthorized access to 200 yards of examination centres as per the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance (Ordinance No- III/1976) under section 28 and 29, the press release said.
This order will remain valid till the end of the examinations effective February 2.
