Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested four members of the banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) at Bidyaganj Railway Station, in Mymensingh sadar upazila, on Wednesday night.

The arrestees were identified as: Shahin Islam alias Mahbub Alam, 22; Siam Al Mahmud, 19; Nasrin Akter, 21; and Shakhawat Karim, 36, reports UNB.

“Acting on a tip-off, the members of RAB 14 conducted a drive in the area and arrested them,” said RAB 14 Commanding Officer Lt Col Eftekhar Uddin, at a press briefing at its office on Thursday.

The detained were identified as active members of JMB, he added.
