Total six Awami League and four BNP men were injured in these clashes
Several Awami League and BNP activists have been injured in separate incidents in Bagerhat and Chuadanga.
In Bagerhat, on Monday night, a total of eight men were injured from both the parties in front of the Dema Karamatia madrasa of the Sadar upazila of Bagerhat.
Bagerhat Model police station OC Mahtab Uddin told the Dhaka Tribune that the police visited the spot after receiving information about the clashes on Monday night.
Four Awami League and four BNP activists were injured in the violence, said the police.
The situation is normal now. No cases have been filed with the police as yet.
In Chuadanga, on Tuesday afternoon, two Jubo League men were injured in a clash between two groups of the same organization.
The incident took place at the Darshana Puran Bazaar area of the Damurhuda upazila of the Chuadanga district.
Damurhuda police station Officer-in-Charge Sukumar Biswas confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune and said: "We have visited the area where the clash took place. Necessary steps will be taken upon further investigation."
