Two passengers have died, and another was injured, after falling from the roof of a moving train, in Pabna.
The accident occurred in the Paksey Hardinge Bridge area, around 5am, on Friday.
The deceased are Abdul Hakim, 16, and Robiul Islam, 20; and the injured is Shanto, 11. They hail from Bogra’s Shibganj upazila.
Confirming the matter to the Dhaka Tribune, Paksey Hardinge Bridge police camp Inspector-in-Charge Shahidul Islam said: “The Khulna-bound Intercity Chitra Express was crossing the Hardinge Bridge, when the victims fell off the train’s roof.”
He said, police went to the spot and recovered both the bodies from underneath the bridge.
