Body with gunshot wound found in Cox’s Bazar

Police have recovered the body of a truck driver with a gunshot wound from a beach in Teknaf upazila on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Hanif, 28, son of the late Siddique Ahmed from Sabrang union.

Locals spotted the body at Baharchharar Noakhalipara beach in the morning and informed police, said Pradip Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Teknaf police station.

Later, a police team led by Baharchhara police investigation camp In-Charge Anwar Hossain recovered the body.
