Rohingya among 3 held with yaba worth Tk3cr

Three men have been detained with yaba tablets worth around Tk3 crorein Cox’s Bazar. 

Md Johar, 35, Md Belal, 22, and Md Chhodrul Amin, 21, were detained by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) with 100,000 yaba tablets on Saturday morning.

RAB sources identified one of the detainees as Rohingya.

Major Mehedi Hassan, the RAB 7 Cox’s Bazar company commander, confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune. 

The elite force members also seized a microbus that was being used to carry yaba tablets by the trio.
