Two suspected firearms dealers have been arrested by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Naogaon’s Atrai Upazila.
They have been identified as Alamgir Hossain, 46, and Abdul Jalil, 50, reports UNB.
Natore RAB 5 company commander Swajal Kumar Sarker said a RAB team raided the house of alleged arms dealer Alamgir in Noidigi village following a tip-off and arrested the two on Saturday morning.
RAB claimed Jalil is a former leader of a banned group.
A one-shooter gun and three bullets were seized during the raid.
A case has been filed against Alamgir and Jalil.
