‘Maa Somabesh’ held in Tangail

The occasion was marked by a discussion at the Berabuchna Government Primary School, in Tangail Sadar Upazila, around 11am on Thursday

"Maa Somabesh," a get-together of mothers and students, was held to honour Tangail's mothers.

The event's slogan was, "Maan Shommoto Shikkha, Sheikh Hasina'r Dikkha" – Sheikh Hasina's Aim for Quality Education.

The occasion was marked by a discussion at the Berabuchna Government Primary School, in Tangail Sadar Upazila, around 11am on Thursday. 

Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jinat Jahan was the guest of honour and Berabuchna Government Primary School's Managing Committee Chairman, Nasir Uddin, moderated the event.

Sadar Upazila Education Officer Aktarun Nahar and Assistant Education Officer Marina Akhter also attended as special guests.

The inauguration speech was delivered by Berabuchna Government Primary School headmistress Arjumand Ara Haque. Teachers, parents, and students were also present at the discussion.

The mothers were awarded medals along with the students.
