Two survivors are receiving treatment at Feni Sadar Hospital
Three people have been killed in two separate road accidents in Feni.
The accidents occurred on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway and Feni-Noakhali highway on Thursday.
Confirming the matter to the Dhaka Tribune, Inspector of Muhriganj police outpost Md Mahbubul Alam said: "On Thursday afternoon, a rented private car, while going from Fulgaji area towards Chittagong Airport, collided with a bus in the Kaska area— injuring four people in the car."
Of the four, Farhad Reza Mukul, 30 and his brother-in-law Md Sayem, 13, died while receiving treatment at Feni Sadar Hospital.
Mukul hailed from Bondua Daulatpur village of Fulgaji upazila. His wife, Fatema-Tuz-Johra Annie, and driver of the private car, Ghiasuddin, are currently undergoing treatment at the same hospital, the inspector said.
In a separate incident, 28-year-old Nazrul was killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a pickup van—on the Feni-Noakhali highway under Daganbhuiyan upazila, said Abul Kalam Azad, officer-in-charge (OC) of Daganbhuiyan police station.
Nazrul, from Taherghona village of Bashkhali upazila in Chittagong, died on the spot, said the OC. Another injured passenger from the pickup van has been admitted to Daganbhuiyan upazila health complex.
