Victim’s mother Marjina Begum filed a case accusing Subarna’s former husband Rajib Hossain and his father Abul Hossain
A Pabna court sent Shamsuzzaman Milon, an accused in a case for killing journalist Subarna Akther Nodi, to jail on Monday.
Investigation officer SI Orabinda Sarker said Milon was produced before the court in the afternoon led by Cheif Judicial Magistrate Rezaul Karim with a 7-day remand prayer.
The court decided the hearing of remand would be fixed next and sent him to jail, said Orabinda.
Police arrested Milon from one of his relatives’ house at Armanitola on Saturday.
Earlier on August 28, Criminals hacked Nodi, 30, the Pabna correspondent of Ananda TV, to death when she was entering her home in Pabna town, and she died at Pabna Medical College Hospital the same night.

Police arrested Abul Hossain after the incident but the key accused Rajib and Milon went on hiding after the incident, RAB said.
‘RAB started investigation and traced Milon in Dhaka. Then a team of RAB 12, Pabna camp, arrested him from the capital’s Armanitola.
He was taken to Pabna RAB camp and handed over to police,’ Md Ruhul Amin, commander of RAB 12, Pabna camp, said.
