On August 18, seven people were killed when assailants opened fire in Swanirbhar Bazar
The committee formed to probe the killings of seven people in an attack in Khagrachhari has been given 15 more working days.
“The deadline has been extended at the request of the probe committee,” Khagrachhari Deputy Commissioner Md Shahidul Islam said.
On August 18, seven people, including acting president of United People’s Democratic Front-backed Pahari Chhatra Parishad Tapan Chakma, were killed when assailants opened fire in Swanirbhar Bazar area.
The district commission formed a five-member committee to investigate the incident and asked it to submit its findings within seven working days.
