Police assume assailants sought to kill the youths
Police have rescued three Rohingya youths whose throats had been slit. They were discovered on a hill of Chakmarkul area in Cox’s Bazar’s Teknaf upazila.
They were rescued around 10am on Monday, Teknaf police station OC Ranjit Kumar Barua said.
The trio was sent to the Medecins Sans Frontieres hospital inside Rohingya camp, he said.
It is assumed that assailants attempted to kill them, the OC said, adding that an investigation into the incident has been launched.
