The man had at least 18 cases against him, police say
Police have recovered the bullet body of a suspected drug dealer in Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga.
The man, who was riddled with bullets, was identified as Shahin, son of Munnaf Ali of Ashtolapara area in the upazila. Police say he was a known drug dealer.
According to locals, farmers spotted the body on Saturday morning and informed the police.
Officer-in-Charge of Jibannagar Police Station Mahmudur Rahman told Dhaka Tribune: "The body was recovered around 11pm. It was sent to the Chuadanga Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy."
Shahin's father Munnaf Hossain said: “Shahin left the house on Thursday morning and didn't return home.”
The OC said police believe Shahin was killed on Friday night, and internal feuds among drug dealers may have been the motive behind the killing.
