Health minister wants medical coaching centres closed from Sept 1

The admission test for medical colleges will be held on October 5 and for dental colleges on November 9

Health Minister Mohammed Nasim on Monday ordered to shut down all medical coaching centres across the country for holding a hassle-free admission tests to medical and dental colleges.

He also directed the authorities concerned to take legal action under the Information and Communication (ICT) Act if anyone spread fake news or rumours through internet or Facebook about the tests or question paper leak, reports UNB.

He asked the Health Ministry to execute his directions with highest transparency.

People were asked to lodge complain with local police stations or at the ministry if they have any information regarding irregularities or question paper leak, read a press release issued on Monday.

The health minister also sought cooperation from law enforcement officials, guardians and students by resisting rumours centring the upcoming tests.

The admission test for medical colleges will be held on October 5 and for dental colleges on November 9.
