Lightning strikes during a severe nor’wester that battered the whole country on Monday claimed 16 more lives and left several injured.
Casualties were reported from Cumilla, Habiganj, Chuadanga, Jamalpur, Sunamganj, Moulvibazar, Rajbari, Pabna, Narayanganj and Rajshahi.
On Sunday, 18 people were also killed in nine districts in similar incidents.
In Cumilla, 30-year-old labourer Bhulu Miya was killed and another man injured while working in a rice field on Monday.
In the haor area of Habiganj, a farmer named Shamsul Haque, 38, died when he was electrocuted while working in a paddy field.
Tragedy struck in the Sadar upazila of Chuadanga when 25-year-old college student Hasibul Islam was killed and his father Majedul Islam injured in a lightning strike.
In Jamalpur, two people were killed in separate incidents of lightning strikes. Bakul Mia, 25, was killed while piloting a boat while Habibur Rahman, 35, was killed in a field near his home.
Abdur Razzak, 42, who was with Bakul when he died, was severely injured.

Bablu Mia, 45, and Yakub Ali, 45, were killed in the Godagari and Puthia upazilas of Rajshahi, respectively.
Bablu was a farmer working in a rice field, and Yakub was applying pesticides to eggplant crops when they died.
Meanwhile, four people were killed and one injured by lightning strikes in Narayanganj.
Farhad, 15, Rafiqul Islam, 34, and Hashem Mollah, 40, died in Rupganj, while Obaidul, 32, was killed in Sonargaon.
A 42-year-old farmer named Md Yahia was killed by a bolt in Sunamganj.
In Moulvibazar, two people - Tamiz Uddin, 24, and Ajay Goala, 27, - were killed and another injured in lightning strikes.
In Pabna, a man was killed by a lightning strike when he took shelter under a mango tree amid heavy rain in Ishwardi upazila.
In Rajbari, a farmer named Abdul Matin Sheikh, 45, was killed when he was working on his crops in the field.
