Jamiatul Ulama chief urges Tabligh Jamaat to resolve conflicts
Bangladesh Jamiatul Ulama Chairman and imam of Bangladesh's largest Eid congregation in Sholakia, Kishoreganj Shaikhul Hadis Farid Uddin Masuud has expressed deep concern about the ongoing internal crisis in Tabligh Jamaat. If the situation is not resolved soon, it will cause irrevocable damage to the Ummah, he said in a statement issued on Sunday.

Urging all to solve the crises sensibly, the imam further said: "General people and the Ulama-e-Kiram have always helped each other. They cannot be competitors to each other. It is to be noted that the fatwa declared by Darul Uloom Deoband does not permit anyone to create chaos.

“In this case, we should limit our activities according to the statements made by Darul Uloom Deoband. Maintaining a strict position will not bring good results for anyone; rather, it will impede the works of Tabligh and Islam.”
