Girl’s decomposed body found in Gazipur hotel

Police have recovered the decomposed body of a young girl from a drum inside a residential hotel at Hotapara area in the sadar upazila on Thursday afternoon. The identity of the girl, aged around 28, could not be ascertained immediately. Local people smelt a decomposed body near the hotel which was closed for last couple of days and informed the police. Later, police recovered the unidentified body from a plastic drum. The body was sent to Shaheed Taz Uddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital for autopsy, confirmed Rafiqul Islam, in-charge of Hotapara Police Camp. The girl was wearing a yellow salwar and black veil at the time of her death, said Rafiqul.
