The accused in the murder of special public prosecutor (PP) Rathish Chandra Bhowmik will be produced before a Rangpur court on Thursday.
Police said they will pray to the court for remand, so that the prime accused Dipa Bhowmik, wife of the murdered lawyer, her alleged beau Quamrul Islam, and two others, can be interrogated.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained Dipa, Quamrul, and one of their colleagues.
However, the couple’s daughter Anita, who was initially detained for interrogation, was released on Wednesday.
