Authorities have postponed mathematics examination of class I and class IV at 102 government primary schools in Natore Sadar on Monday following reported question paper leakage.
The mathematics exam was a part of year-end final term examinations, confirms Natore sadar upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) and the upazila primary education officer.
Sipra Rani Dutta, headmistress of Agdigha Government Primary School, told the Dhaka Tribune that she notified the upazila education authorities as soon as it came her attention that the mathematics question paper is circulating among students of her school.
Natore UNO Jesmin Akhter Banu said she ordered the education authorities to postponed the exam immediately after the matter had come to our attention.
Ali Ashraf, primary education officer of Natore Sadar, said a probe committee will be formed soon to investigate the matter.
Further steps will be taken within December 21, he added.
