Four suspected cattle thieves lynched in Noakhali

Four suspected cattle thieves have been beaten to death by an angry mob at Kachhopia village under Subarnachar upazila in Noakhali. The deceased could not be identified immediately. The locals caught and beat up six suspected thieves when they entered the village on a microbus to steal cattle around 2:30am early Thursday, killing four on the spot and injuring the others. Confirming the matter, Chorjobbor police station Office-in-Charge Md Nizam Uddin said the injured have been sent to Noakhali General Hospital.
