A bomb inside a pressure cooker exploded at a shop in Ghonabanda area of Khulna’s Dumuria upazila.
No one was reportedly injured in the explosion.
Dumuria police station Officer-in-Charge Sukumar Bishwas said: “A youth went to a tea stall around 9pm on Thursday and had tea. Then he requested the stall owner to keep a pressure cooker in the stall for some time and moved away. The pressure cooker exploded 20 minutes after.”
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and found evidence suggesting that the pressure cooker contained a bomb.
The OC further said: "Materials used to make clocks and bombs were recovered from the pressure cooker."
