Air Force’s training aircraft crashes in Chittagong's Lohagara
A training plane of Bangladesh Air Force has crash in Foridarghunia area under Lohagara upazila of Chittagong district. The plane crash around 2:30pm on Tuesday at Boro Hatiya area of Foridarghona in Lohagara upazila in the district, Noor E Alam Mina, Chittagong superintendent of police told the Dhaka Tribune that the plane crashed around 2:30pm He said: “The trainer and the trainee pilot managed to escape from the plane with the help of parachutes. They have been rescued. “Helicopters from the Air Force are still patrolling the area. Emergency services have been dispatched to the spot." ISPR Director Lt Col Rashedul Hassan said: "The two pilots of the crashed training plane at Chittagong's Lohagara upazila are being tended to after their rescue."
