Three people have been killed and 10 others injured after a bus overturned in Khagrachhari’s Guimara upazila.
The deceased are Nipon Akhter, 24, Ferdous, 4, and Tarikul Islam, 20.
Guimara police station Officer-in-Charge (investigation) Safiqul Islam said the accident took place at Kalapani area on Khagrachhari-Chittagong highway around 9am on Wednesday.
He said the Chittagong-bound bus coming from Khagrachhari overturned when the driver lost control.
The injured were rushed to Guimara BGB hospital and other hospitals in Chittangong.
“The bodies will be sent to Khagrachhari Sadar hospital,” the OC added.
