Due to the deteriorating weather caused by the approaching Cyclone Mora, activities at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong will be suspended from 5:45am to 2pm on Tuesday.
The decision was taken by the Civil Aviation Authority Bangladesh after consulting with concerned authorities. Wing Commander Reazul Kabir, manager of the airport, confirmed the decision to the Dhaka Tribune.

He said the suspension could be extended or withdrawn early depending on what the weather is like on Tuesday.
Cyclone Mora, estimated to be one of the biggest cyclones of the season, is bearing down towards the coast of Bangladesh and will make landfall on early Tuesday morning.
