A suspected robber has been killed in an alleged gunfight with police in Khulna city. According to police, most wanted criminal Munshi Raju, 28, who had been absconding since long, was accused in murder and rape cases. Five policemen, including Khulna Sadar police station Office-in-Charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman, were injured in the gunfight that took place early Saturday at Tutpara. OC Mizanur said that a police team raided Tutpara after being tipped off that Munshi had been planning a robbery with his cohorts.
