A portion of Adivasi (indigenous peoples) community has blocked a road in Bandarban’s Lama protesting the criminal activities of Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (PCJSS) members.
The Mro community people blocked the Lama-Ali Kadam-Chakaria road halting the traffic movement through the route from 10am Saturday.
Mro community people alleged that the PCJSS members had been conducting different criminal activities including murder, abduction and extortion in the area.
The PCJSS is a political party formed to represent the people of 11 indigenous groups of Chittagong Hill Tracks in Bangladesh.
