District and upazila administration have distributed relief among the flood victims of Moulvibazar on Tuesday.
Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner Md Tofail Islam handed over 15kg of rice to each of the 300 farmers of Kulaura upazila who lost their crops in the recent flash flood.
Kulaura Upazila Chairman ASM Kamrul Islam and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Golam Rabbi were present among others during the distribution.
Earlier, the deputy commissioner distributed 20kg of rice to each of the 125 flood victim farmers of Moulvibazar Sadar upazila.

District administration sources said around 200 tonnes of rice and Tk10 lakh in cash have arrived at the DC office as relief for flood victims. The cash has not been distributed among the victims yet.
1,000 more Vulnerable Group Feeding (VGF) cards have been issued for 98 tonnes of rice and Tk15 lakh which will be distributed, according to the district administration.
Locals expect the government will allocate more relief considering the number of victims.
According to district administration and agriculture department sources, the number of victims is around 35,000 while the locals claim it is more like to be around 50,000.
The deputy commissioner also distributed relief among 450 flood victim families of the district’s Kamalganj upazila on Monday.
