The Longest Walk begins in Cox's Bazar
The walk's first day kicked off at Laboni Point of the beach at 10am on Saturday and will end 100km away from the starting point in Teknaf's Shah Parir island on March 20. The 30 participants, comprising of students, freedom fighters and various professionals, will also collect litter from the beach during their walk. Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation's Dr Md Nasir Uddin, Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner Md Ali Hossain, Tourist Police Senior ASP Hossain Md Raihan Kazemy and Base Camp Bangladesh Managing Director Tamzid Siddiq attended the inauguration of the event.
